Q.What is the lead time for booking your removals services?

A. Obviously the more time before your move the better, however I operate on a 1st come 1st served basis. If you ring for a removals quote and you are happy please confirm ASAP as someone else may book the time you need 

Q. Are you fully insured?

A. Yes, I am fully insured but also check with your Insurance Company as it may be that they will have insured your goods for removals

Q. Are there any hidden charges?

A. No the price you have been quoted is the price you pay, however please ensure that you have fully disclosed the amount of items to be moved as this could attract an excess charge, so be honest!!

Q. Who is responsible for parking tickets?

A. You are responsible for any parking tickets issued; please ensure that access to the address you are moving from and the address you are moving to have space available. If either address is in a residents parking zone you can call Northampton County Council on 01604 838515 to arrange a parking waiver.

Q. Do you provide a flat pack service?

A. Yes I can provide a flat pack service amongst other services listed on the Service page

Q. How do I pay?

A. Pay cash on the day of the removal/ Job. Cheques will only be accepted by prior arrangement. I hope to be able to accept Major Credit/Debit cards soon.

Q. Who is responsible for ensuring my contents fit into my new property?

A. It is your responsibility to ensure that large items i.e. Sofa's will fit into the property you move to in my experience this is the one single item that creates problems I will not remove doors are fixtures to facilitate i.e. a sofa that will not fit in.

Q. Are there any charges for cancellations?

A. No if you cancel in good time there is no charge, however there is a charge for late cancellations

Q. Why should I use your services? I have had cheaper quotes!!

A. You are the customer and have the right to choose who you want to complete your removals. Please ensure that you check that the people whose services you are engaging are properly insured and are reliable.
