Colin and his team helped me keep my stuff in storage at a very good rate for a couple of months until i completed on the house i was moving into. And during the removal process great care was taken with all my belongings, he clearly cares about doing as fantastic a job as possible and that came through with the use of the regular team he uses too.
I'd recommend him to anyone and have been doing so.

Another late posting - if only Colin installed Broadband we would have been up and running ages ago! We moved from High Wycombe on 13th December after 25 years acquiring 'stuff'. Colin was unfazed, never once sucking his teeth or shaking his head. Two lorries and three days were needed but his team worked tirelessly remaining cheerful despite rain, snow and an uphill trudge through loose gravel when unloading. Access was impossible to mere mortals but not so for Colin.
The price was competitive and Colin went out of his way to be helpful with no quibbling over delays or problems. The team were a set of individuals pulling together under first class leadership. As far as moving house can be a pleasure they made a great contribution and we waved goodbye to a group who had become friends.
With the big bills of house moving being solicitors, estate agents and removers Transporter were by a country mile the smallest, the hardest earned and unquestionably the best value.
We would not hesiate to recommend them and wish them well in the future.

Colin and Jano moved me into my first home. I've never moved home before and was renting before I took the plunge and bought my own place. Colin made sure all my belongings were safely packed and moved them into my new property. They also took apart and reassembled all my furniture in situ. I literally did not lift a finger.

After being let down by a previous removal company, I could not have been more pleased by Transporter Removals. Not only did they help me out at short notice, but they arrived ahead of time, and took great care taking everything out of my old house. They were polite, courteous and very professional.
When arriving at my new home, they put down plastic to protect the carpets and took every item into the right room. They were a pleasure to deal with, and we had no breakages and no damages and the job was done very quickly, with no fuss. I would recommend them to everyone.

Colin and the boys arrived only slightly late on the coldest day of the year so far in icy conditions which had us wondering if they would make it at all. With great foresight, Colin had laid on an extra van and an extra man to compliment the big van that was to handle the move. This turned out to be a wise decision as the contents of our 3 storey house started to fill up the lorry. Colin kept assuring us that it would all fit in, but I thought I was starting to see doubts creeping in. Of course it did all fit in, but we were glad of the extra van to carry the sauna and other garden paraphernalia as well as the contents of the garage. I think the boys were glad that our new house was only 2 stories.
Of course, when we arrived at the new house our solicitors were doing what solicitors do best, and procrastinating for England. After some delay, which The Transporter team employed gainfully by scaling fences and getting started on the garden stuff, the keys arrived, and the move in went faultlessly.
It was a real pleasure to work with a team who were unfailingly cheerful throughout, and the constant efforts to be clean and careful were much appreciated. We had a second delivery arriving from storage the next day, and the plastic laid down by Colin on stairs and carpets served us well on that occasion as well.
Thanks to Colin and the boys for a thoroughly professional team who made the whole exercise into a pleasure, completed on time, and to estimate. We will be in touch in 2015 for the next move to Shropshire.

A big thank you for the great job last week moving most of our possessions into storage and then bringing the essential items to our temporary accommodation. The weather couldn't have been any worse as it rained from start to finish. That said, they made sure the carpets were protected and left everywhere as clean as it started. We move from ground house to apartment in Northampton.We had never met such a friendly and humble removal personal. There is no complain from Mr Colin and his assistant that they have to carry the household item up to 4th floor. We never find a good and friendly removal transporter back in Malaysia.

We were very impressed by Colin and his team. They arrived exactly on schedule and got stuck in straight away. They were friendly and very hard working. Nothing was too much for them and they were totally professional throughout the day.
The bikes got an outing, with our teenagers riding two of them to the new house and two willing removal men riding the other two This shows the fun and willingness to go that extra mile (so to speak) and go above and beyond the call of duty.

My move was so smooth and effortless, I couldn't believe it. These guys worked tirelessly for over 11 hours without 1 complaint. They put everything where I wanted it, nothing was too much trouble. They even helped the Comet delivery guys get a rather large fridge freezer up to the kitchen on the first floor. (Which the Comet guys where reluctant to do)

They emptied out my storage unit on another day and at that time moved some items of furniture already at the house to other rooms for me. They also found a way to get my 3 seater sofa up to the first floor lounge.

Frankly I cannot praise these guys enough, no stress, no fuss, they did the packing quickly and nothing got broken. Thanks!

We are veteran house movers having lived in eight houses and have tried a variety of different removal companies from probably the best known national company through a well known and long established local firm and even including one from a small ad in the local paper when all the others were fully booked who arrived in a rental van - amazingly that turned out to be one of our better moves. The worst was without a doubt the well known national company.

Of all those moves undoubtedly the easiest, least stressful was the latest in February 2010 using Colin and his team from The Transporter Removals. He loaned us good stout boxes and packaging paper so we didn't have to hunt around to find something suitable. He even offered to dismantle and reassemble the self assembly wardrobes although we decided to do that ourselves to keep the removal itself as fast as possible.

On the day of the removal the crew arrived bang on the arranged time. Here is our only criticism - they had made no arrangements for good weather and it was snowing. Fortunately part of the standard service is to lay sheets and polythene throughout the houses at both ends so everywhere remained clean. It seemed like no time at all before all our worldly goods were securely stowed in the cavernous van and we were on our way to the new house. Once there the unloading was quick and efficient with everything ending up safe and sound where we wanted it.

Colin and his team did an amazing job which saw us packed up, moved 25 miles and unpacked all before 4:30. No stress, no worries. I wouldn't use anyone else. Thanks

After months of moving stress colin was the only person to deliver the service that was promised.

Having only 20 hours notice to move house Colin was so helpful and friendly and even managed to transport my husbands CBR 600 motor bike in the van.

I would definitely recommend Colin to anyone moving house, the lorry was packed and unpacked with great ease, His team worked so hard all day long almost 10 hours of hard graft and not one bad word passed their lips.

The cost of the move was very reasonable, I would of been happy to pay twice the price and still would of felt I had good value for money.

Absolutely brilliant - Cannot believe how much can be fitted in one van by two men in such an organised manner. They were fantastic, stuck to quoted price despite delay in moving date and if I were to move again I would use them without hesitation, highly recommended, great value, great service and nice guys too.

Just wanted to say thank you to the Transporter man for moving me to Brighton over the weekend. Boxes supplied were fantastic, move was quick and Colin did an excellent job even with all those stairs! Couldn't have done it without him! Recommend to anyone, and will most defiantly be using him again!
